The new face of volunteering
VSO has changed a lot in the last 50 years. We now recruit experienced professionals across a broad spectrum of skill areas, so we're not only looking for doctors or teachers anymore. We also need experienced fundraisers, business advisers and a range of other professionals and have short-term & youth volunteering opportunities. Find out how you can support today's volunteers or
VSO supporter groups
You don't have to go overseas to volunteer your time for VSO. Our supporter groups help to raise awareness of international development issues and VSO in their communities, reach out to DIASPORA groups and support recently returned and outgoing volunteers. Find out how to get involved.
Donate today
For every 1000 children born in Malawi, 176 die before their fifth birthday. VSO doctors and nurses are working with local partners in Malawi to prevent these unnecessary deaths. It costs VSO £5.10 a day to support these volunteers. Find out how you can help.
